Wild Woman — Moyobamba, Peru
27 October-2 November 2024
Price starts at €1500*
Unleash your inner wild woman on this intimate, one-week immersion in the Peruvian Amazon Jungle. Through unique, female-focused yoga and meditation practices, hands-on workshops, and adventurous nature excursions, tap into your primal feminine energy and creative force.
This retreat is an experiential study of the Wild Woman archetype: our original need to be in connection with the land, in community with other women, and in tune with our own inner cycles, intuition, and uncensored expression.
Deepen into practice and ritual through embodiment dance, visualisation journeys, journaling, cacao ceremony, singing circles, (self) breast massage, yoni steaming, and much more. Swim naked in waterfalls, howl at the moon, and sit at the ancient, rooted feet of our wise and wild Mother Nature. And listen...
Do you hear the call of the wild?
In the Heart of the Jungle
Moyobamba, Peru, located in the heart of the Amazon jungle, is home to hundreds of species of orchids and rich wildlife, such as monkeys, hummingbirds, and butterflies. From your jungle bungalow to the open-air restaurant… from the outdoor pool to the luminous Yoga Shala, you are completely immersed in nature at Kantu Garden Lodge, while also being within walking distance of many shops and local markets. Located by the river port of Tahuishco, it is easy to get around by "tuktuk" and explore the colourful and vibrant city in your free time. Go crystal shopping, admire the mural art all over the walls of the town, enjoy artisanal ice cream, or get a tattoo from a local master. We are two hours away by taxi from Tarapoto Airport (airport transfer is included in reservation), which is directly linked to Lima International Airport (about an hour flight away).
Daily Yoga & Meditation
Every day of the retreat will offer unique, embodied yoga and meditation practices, including Creative Vinyasa, Goddess Flow, Bhakti Flow, and Candlelit Yin and Restorative, lovingly guided by your facilitators Tiana and Sophia. Whether you are a seasoned practitioner or just beginning on your yoga asana and meditation journey, we provide well-rounded practices, where everyone finds snippets to take back home.
Community of Women
Be embraced by a community of like-hearted women from around the world and feel how your deep feminine wisdom, intuition, and creative gifts blossom in a supportive and celebratory environment, where all distractions and layers of inhibition and suppression are stripped away. Come bond over wild adventure and become part of a lifelong sisterhood.
Experiential Workshops
Get your hands dirty and meet the Wild Woman across mediums with specialized workshops including a Primitive Pottery Workshop with a local maestra, Breast Massage, Yoni Steaming, Voice Activation through Sacred Songs & Storytelling, Embodiment Dance, and more. You will also get the chance to help in the preparations of one of the circles and get first-hand insights into the art of holding space for women.
Learning Immersion
While there will still be room for relaxation and personal time, due to the immersive and intensive nature of this experience, a certificate for 50 hours of “Continuing Education” will be provided to participants. If you are a registered yoga teacher, you can add those hours to your Yoga Alliance profile. However, there is absolutely no need for you to be yoga teacher to join.
Time to Disconnect
During the retreat, we encourage you to take time off your screens, especially your phone. While we will not be enforcing a strict digital detox, we ask that you do not bring your phone to practices and meals, and that you be conscious about your screen time in order to be present with the land and the people. Even just a week off our screens can heighten our senses and activate our innate instincts in navigation, true connection, and slowing down.
Homemade, Plant-Based Meals
Nourish yourself with 3 vegetarian/vegan gourmet meals a day, specialties of the Kantu Garden Restaurant. Enjoy Peruvian and International dishes prepared with fresh ingredients and condiments from the garden. The menu will be diverse, delicious, and healthy fuel for adventure. “The doors to the world of the wild Self are few but precious. If you have a deep scar, that is a door, if you have an old, old story, that is a door. If you love the sky and the water so much you almost cannot bear it, that is a door. If you yearn for a deeper life, a full life, a sane life, that is a door.”

Co-FounderA devoted student on the path of Bhakti yoga, ever-enchanted by nature and inspired by the thrill of life, I see yoga as a loving conversation and believe in teaching, learning, and living in fullness from the heart. In my yoga classes, expect explorative experiences of creative movement and meditation woven with sound, chanting, storytelling, and poetry, to inspire both playful and profound heart-connection.
I am a graduate of White Peacock Yoga School’s 300-hour Bhakti Academy, Yandara Yoga Institute’s 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training, and am an ongoing student of Hindu Mythology and other yoga philosophy Continuing Education courses through the School of Indian Wisdom, Yogic Studies, and Samāveśa School of Yoga. I love adventure and travel, and have taught yoga in Peru, Spain, France, Morocco, Guadeloupe, and Canada.
I'm also a certified educator (Bachelor of Education: Artist in Community Education, Queen's University) and dance teacher (British Association of Teachers of Dancing), and am passionate about fostering community and connection through educational, artistic, and spiritual offerings.

Co-FounderSensitive and curious, always ready for an adventure, often in search of beauty, special places in nature, and large bodies of water to submerge myself in. You may find me by rivers, rocks, waterfalls, and long point breaks, most probably muddy and barefoot.
I am a yoga facilitator with a deep love for movement, whether that's creative vinyasa sequences, embodiment dance, animal movement, or arm balance play. I believe that moving our bodies in different, fun, and creative ways can spark even more inspiration and joy both on and off the mat.
I studied yoga in North Sumatra, Indonesia with Flying Elephant Yoga (200h) and in Costa Rica with Authentic Movements (300h). I am always looking for new ways of expanding my knowledge about this never ending journey to the self.
My origins are a yummy mix of Russian, Ukrainian, Moldovan, Polish, and Azerbaijan roots. Russian is my mother tongue, I lived in Russia and the Moldovan countryside for the first 10 years of my life, before moving to Paris, France with my mother.
I speak Russian, French, English, and Spanish.
I cannot wait to dance with you!

The closest airport is “Guillermo del Castillo” airport (TPP) in the city of Tarapoto. The main airlines serving domestic flights within Peru are: Star Peru, Latam, Sky Airline, and Viva Air. Do check their baggage policies as they tend to have several options. Star Peru for example tends to include luggage in their airfare pricing, while Viva Air make their flights cheaper and sell luggage allowance separately.
We will provide airport transfers to and from Tarapoto airport (TPP) to Kantu Garden Lodge (via shared or private taxi depending on your time of arrival).
